TAG Heuer 1500 Series GMT, ref. 155.706/1

This is a quartz GMT diver from TAG Heuer's 1500 Series. It has a white dial and a red-tipped 24-hour GMT hand for tracking a second time zone. The stainless steel case measures about 40mm across (43.5mm with the crown), 47mm lug-to-lug and 9.2mm thick. It runs on a quartz movement based on the ETA 255.266, is water resistant to 200m, and is fitted to a steel bracelet with a folding clasp. The 1500 Series launched in 1990 and blended design elements of the 1000 and 2000 Series. It stayed largely unchanged for nearly a decade.

This is the "jumbo" size, the largest in the 1500 range. It sold in far smaller numbers than the smaller models, and GMT versions are especially scarce. That makes it a rare and practical neo-vintage traveller's diver.
