The Omega Constellation 168.025 is a late-1960s evolution of the Constellation line, featuring Omega’s distinctive monocoque “C-case” design with an integrated, more modern profile. Produced during a period when Omega was emphasising improved water resistance, the reference is marked “Waterproof” and was intended to be opened using Omega case tool 105, reflecting its front-loading construction. Examples fitted with the characteristic stepped “pie pan” dial retain the visual identity established by earlier Constellations, while the watch is powered by a chronometer-certified automatic movement such as the calibre 564. As part of the Constellation family introduced in 1952, the 168.025 represents Omega’s transition from classic mid-century styling toward the cleaner, more architectural designs of the late 1960s, while maintaining the line’s core focus on precision and chronometer performance.
