Heuer 1000 Series 1000 Meters 980.022

Heuer 1000 Series reference 980.022 is the full-size 42mm gold-plated version of the Monnin-derived diver, with a gold and black unidirectional bezel, black dial with luminous Mercedes hands and applied markers, date at three, screw-down crown with pronounced guards, mineral glass and an ESA quartz movement on a matching gold-plated bracelet. It was the top-of-range finish in the series, the dressiest reading of a case shape that was otherwise pure tool watch, and it carries the same 200 metre depth rating as its steel siblings.
